While you can buy Vaper Empire’s Orange Crush e-liquid in a bottle, we tried it out in pod form using Vaper Empire’s Viggo Series pod system, which we absolutely love. Presumably, the bottled version uses free-base nicotine, whereas the pods use nicotine salts. So there is a difference between the two, as nic salts have less of an impact on the flavour of the vapour — perhaps worth keeping in mind if you’re considering going with a bottle of this new flavour.
First Impression
Right when you punch through the film of the packaging and pull out one of the Orange Crush pods, you’re hit with this incredible flavour. It smells exactly like orange soda. That was the first indicator that we were about to enjoy ourselves.
How Well It Vapes
Our first puff had us thinking: “Oh my god, that’s delightful!”
Our second puff had us thinking that it not only tastes great, but it has a really nice throat hit that you notice right away thanks to the hint of menthol in it.
On our third puff, we reconfirmed that it’s just like vaping a soda. Not only that, there’s plenty of nicotine in each hit thanks to the nic salts. In fact, it took only three puffs before we were completely satisfied and set it down.
After setting it down following our third puff, our reaction was as follows: “That’s good. Very tasty and relaxing.”
A Real Treat
This may not be an all-day vape juice for some vapers because it’s fairly sweet. It strikes us as more of a treat to enjoy here and there, although surely there are some vapers who will want to vape it all day, every day.
Our Conclusion
Orange Crush by Vaper Empire tastes just like the soda, fizz and all. It’s smooth, yet it has a noticeable throat hit. The nic salts are an excellent touch, ensuring that it doesn’t take more than a few puffs before you’re satisfied. Each puff is a delight, making you wonder why you didn’t venture into the world of soda flavoured vape juices sooner. This is truly the taste of quality e-liquid and it’s yet another impressive flavour from a company that has become well known across Australia for its premium vape juice.
