It is. The fridge is an excellent place to store your vape liquid so long as nobody will mistake it for something else and no youths have access to it. That last part is key. You absolutely do not want to store it in the fridge if there’s a chance that adolescents could access it. If you’re the only one who has access to the fridge then it is a fantastic place to store your e-liquid for extended periods of time.
Why It’s A Good Idea To Refrigerate Vape Juice
The reason why it’s a good idea to use a fridge to store your vape juice is that it keeps the juice from coming in contact with heat and light. Those are two enemies of e-juice. Heat and light will make your juice expire faster than it needs to. Leaving it in the fridge will help prolong its life. If stored properly in a glass container (ideal) or plastic container that’s tightly sealed, your juice should last anywhere from one to five years.
You Can Even Use A Freezer
Your vape juice won’t completely freeze if you leave it in the freezer. It will, however, become thick like honey and you may find it hard to squeeze into your vape without thawing it first. The freezer will actually do a better job of keeping your e-juice fresh but you might find it to be a little bit of a hassle to use, as you may first need to let it sit out for a bit before you’re able to use it.
