How does the Juul compare to the Viggo? In this comparison of these two popular vapes, we’re going to break them down and examine how they compare to find out which one is the best pod vape.
Which Pod Vape Is Better?
Don’t have time to read our in-depth comparison? We’ll cut straight to the case: the Viggo is better. It has a long-lasting battery with twice as much vaping power. Its pods hold more than twice as much e-liquid and they’re available in more flavours. And not just more flavours, better flavours in our opinion. Much better. You can actually control the voltage on the Viggo, whereas the Juul offers no such control. The softened edges of the device, the soft black shell, and the contours of the mouthpiece on each pod make for a more comfortable overall vaping experience.

In-Depth Comparison:
There’s no portability issue with either e-cigarette. They’re both within the realm of easily being classified as pocket-friendly. The Juul has a longer, thinner body, whereas the Juul is somewhat short and chunky by comparison. Both are a good size. However, there are some very distinct differences between the two that are very difficult to ignore. Let’s take a look at what those differences are.
- E-liquid capacity
- Battery capacity
- Charging time
- Available pod flavours
- Voltage control
- Vaping time between charges
E-Liquid Capacity
The Viggo’s vape pods are home to 1.8ml of e-liquid. That’s more than two times the amount we find in Juul’s 0.7ml pods. This is obviously a significant difference but how much does it really matter? If you don’t mind changing your pod more frequently then it may not matter to you at all. But if you prefer your pods to last longer then you’re going to want to opt for the obvious winner here, which is the Viggo.
Battery Capacity & Charging Time
We’re talking about a really substantial difference in battery power between these two pod vapes. The surprising part is that they’re both, as we noted way earlier in this comparison, very portable. There’s no issue carrying either of them, yet the Viggo has a 400mAh battery and the Juul has a 200mAh battery. And get this: they both recharge in about an hour’s time. So one is more powerful and lasts longer between charges and it fully recharges in just about the same amount of time? Yeah, this is an easy one to answer: Viggo wins by a mile.
Available Pod Flavours
The thing about Juul when it comes to flavours is that there are different flavours available in different markets. If you live in the US, your choices are super limited. They’re only selling menthol and tobacco flavours in the United States, at least for now. If you live outside of the US then there are more options in some cases. With Viggo, the options are the same and there are quite a few of them. More than ten. From what we have seen, and we could be wrong, there are less than ten flavours of Juul vape pods. From the flavours we have tried, like Juul Mint, we definitely prefer the Vaper Empire e-liquid inside of Viggo pods. The flavours are better. The juice is better. That’s our opinion, though, and you might disagree because it does come down to personal preference to some degree. But as far as which one has the most flavours, the winner is once again Vaper Empire’s Viggo.
Voltage Control
Can you control the voltage on a Juul device? No. Do you have three preset voltages that you can cycle through with a Viggo vape? Yes. There’s no question about which one is the winner in the power control race. One vape lets you control the voltage and the other does not.
Vaping Time Between Charges
With a battery that holds twice as much power, you would think that the Viggo would clearly last longer than the Juul between charges — and it does. The battery makes all the difference here. Clearly, Viggo utilises a more powerful battery and that makes quite the difference when it comes to how long you can vape before you have to recharge the battery.
The Winner: Viggo
Just about the only area where there’s not necessarily a clear winner is in the flavour race. Both have good flavours, however, we prefer Viggo’s flavours. Both use nicotine salts. Both use disposable pods. Both vape batteries are rechargeable. With so many similarities, it’s easy to imagine how vapers could accidentally buy the wrong vape instead of the right vape. When we dissect the two, it’s easy to see which one is the obvious choice. We recommend the Viggo, it’s the better vape and that’s all there is to it.
